Our continued professional development community, MuseumNext has continued its growth over the course of 2023 attracting more delegates to its virtual events series and growing corporate memberships which have attracted high profile cultural institutions as subscribers.
“MuseumNext offers cost-effective and accessible professional development for museum professionals, and we’ve seen good growth in attendance thanks to recommendation and positive word of mouth”, said Jim Richardson, Managing Director of NXT.
Corporate members now include Guggenheim, Tate, Van Gogh Museum, Qatar Museums, Singapore Art Museum, Museums Victoria and the International Olympic Committee.
Ten MuseumNext conferences took place throughout 2023, with the average attendance being above 2,500 people per event.
“More and more institutions are using MuseumNext content as an effective way to offer professional development to their staff without breaking the bank. The fact that we’re not only seeing extremely high renewal rates but also word-of-mouth recommendations means that our virtual offering continues to grow”.
BIG PLANS FOR 2024
The coming year looks to be an exciting time for MuseumNext, with plans to grow the number of virtual events on offer and hold an in-person conference in London.
This MuseumNext Live event sold out of early-bird tickets and sponsorship packages within 24 hours of being announced.
“MuseumNext is proof that there’s a huge appetite for high quality professional development at an affordable price”, added Richardson.
